Action for Access News
Exercise your right!
With the Olympics and Paralympics coming up, the Action for Access campaign is looking at access to gyms, swimming pools and health clubs to ensure that disabled people are able to take part in sporting activities.
For most people keeping fit is an important part of a full and active life. Joining the gym however is not an option for many disabled people. Steps to entrances, a lack of equipment and staff attitudes mean disabled people are often unable to use leisure facilities.
We believe that everyone has the right to exercise and we need your help to make this happen.
Add an access survey today and help make the right to exercise a reality for everyone!
If you are a sports provider looking for information on how to improve access see our business section.
