Action Week 6th - 12th of June

Access to shops, businesses and transport affects a lot of people in the UK. It is not just disabled people who experience problems, older people and parents with push chairs can also be disadvantaged. But we can make things better together.

Get involved from 6th - 12th June and survey how accessible shops and services are in your area.

What can you do?

  • Download a campaign pack and fill out access surveys of your local shops and businesses.
  • Aim to win £40 worth of Amazon vouchers by completing the most surveys during the week.  Follow this link for more details of how to enter.
  • Use your local media to put pressure on businesses to improve their access for disabled customers.  You can get advice on doing this from the Leonard Cheshire Disability media team.  Tel: 020 3242 0313
