The Hardest Hit March - 11th May 2011

Defending disabled people's futures. Join us for a March, Lobby of Parliament and Rally on 11 May.

On 11 May, thousands of disabled people will be marching through Westminster and past Parliament to make sure that disabled people have their voices heard on key issues like the plans to reform Disability Living Allowance, or cuts to social care services.

Some of the changes that have been proposed could have a major impact on disabled people, and we want to make sure that the Government gets to hear about people's concerns.

We will gather for the march from 11.30am on the Embankment by Horseguards Avenue. It will start at 12.30pm and take in Victoria Embankment, Bridge Street, Parliament Square, Millbank and finish in Dean Stanley Street at around 1.30pm.

The event is being supported by a huge number of different disability organisations, including Leonard Cheshire Disability.
